Enter Log Event
Explanation
Use this activity to register a production log event.
When new log events are reported it is mandatory that a log event type be
selected for the new record. This log event type must have been connected to one
of the following system log event types which controls how the log event is
handled:
	- Log Bulletin - A log bulletin is specified
in time and is useful when you want to make available certain production
unit information. For example: (a) instructions for a special job (b) how to
run the production unit during a particular time period (c) how to handle
certain raw materials. These type of bulletins can be viewed in the

	Production Unit window.
	- Log Marker - Log markers can be used
as a time marker in OEE graphs. It is used to mark the time a specific
action was performed. These markers are useful during APQ analysis as it
helps to identify the type of effect (whether positive or negative) the
action had on the APQ value.
	- Log Note - A log note is used to enter
information that is not object-related for your production unit (or part of
it). This information can be, for example, general information that a
production personnel wants conveyed to the next shift.
Prerequisites
A log event type must have been created and connected
to a system log event type in the Define
Event Types window (Setup OEE).

selecting the right mouse button option View Event for an existing
log event record in the Production Unit window.
- In the Log Event Type list, select the
required log event type (connected to the system log event type you want).
- Enter the object for which the log event is to be
created in the Object ID field. Use the List of Values to select a
