When a parameter has been measured and the result of the measurement registered, the equipment object information on the current object gets updated with the measured value and date. Any preventive maintenance actions that this object is linked to are also updated with the measured value and the value that generated a work order, if applicable. When a measurement of a parameter falls outside the specified limit values, or the accumulative value exceeds the limit for generation, a work order is generated.
