Activate Preventive Maintenance Action Revision

Explanation

Use this activity to manually activate a new preventive maintenance action revision (PMA revision) in order to generate work orders. A PMA revision is usually activated once all the preparation and planning have been performed on the PMA revision. 

Prerequisites

A PMA revision in the Preliminary status should exist in the system.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the PMA revision is activated. The previously active revision (if one exists) will be set to obsolete. It is now possible to generate work orders from this PMA revision.

Procedure

1. Open the Separate PM Action or Route PM Action window, and query for the PMA revision you want to activate.
2. Right-click, point to PM Action Status and click Active.
