Create Standard Job Revision
Explanation
Use this activity to create a new standard job revision from an
existing revision.
A standard job revision that is in use (i.e., a
revision that is connected to a PM action or work order) can be updated, but
with restrictions. Major changes, such as entering new material and changing maintenance
organization, cannot be performed. When major changes are required, a new
standard job revision has to be created.
New revisions can be created from any status.
Prerequisites
A standard job revision should exist in the system.
System Effects
- As a result of this activity, a new standard job
revision is created.
- The new revision will receive the Preliminary status.

Procedure
- Open either the
Separate Standard Job
window or the
Route Standard Job window.
- Query for the standard job for which you want to create the revision
(alternatively you can directly query
for the revision itself).
- Right-click and then click Create New Revision.
The Create New Revision for Standard Job dialog box opens.
- Enter an ID for the new revision in the New
Revision field.
- Click OK.
