Enter Mandatory Route PM Information

Explanation

Use this activity to enter mandatory information required to create a route PM action. 

Prerequisites

• Information on equipment should be entered IFS/Equipment.
• Information on Actions should be entered in Maintenance Basic Data.
• Information on maintenance organizations and employees should be entered in Organization Basic Data.
• Operational Status and Route IDs should be defined in Work Order and PM Basic Data.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, a route PM action with a unique PM number will be created.

Procedure

1. Open Route PM Action window and create a new record.
2. Enter an appropriate revision in the Revision field. 
3. In the Object ID field, enter an equipment object on which the PM action will be performed. Use the list of available values.
4. In the Action field, select the PM action code for what has to be done.
5. Select the General tab. 
6. In the Operational Status field, specify the operational status of the object during the PM action.
7. In the Maint. Org. field, specify the responsible maintenance organization.
8. In the Executed By field, enter the signature of the employee who is responsible for executing the PM action. 
9. In the Route ID field, select a suitable route definition.
10. Save the information.
