Prepare Standard Job
Explanation
This activity is used to enter job descriptions and
categories for a standard job, and also to define the standard job to be used as
the standard text.
Standard jobs can be categorized according to the equipment object's object
type, object category, type designation, part
number and repair code. This helps to group similar standard jobs together.
A standard job defined as standard text only will not
have any material, tools and facilities, operations, permits, and planning
lines connected to it.
Prerequisites
- Object categories, object types, and type
designations should be defined in IFS/Basic Data for Maintenance,
Equipment Basic Data.
- Part numbers should be defined in IFS/Part Catalog.
- Jobs should be defined in the Prepare Work Order/Jobs tab.
System Effects
- The standard job will be grouped according to
categories.
- The standard job will be used as standard text (if
defined).
