Use this window to create fabrication types to be used to describe how material will be prefabricated in manufacturing structures, using shop orders. Cutting, Folding, Machining and Welding are a few of the common industrial fabrication types. A fabrication type can be defined on an additional part for a design object. When a shop order is created for the design object, additional parts that match the fabrication type requested by the shop order will be included as the material demand of the shop order. Once a fabrication type is no longer used, it is possible to set it as Obsolete on this tab. Select the Obsolete check box to ensure that the particular fabrication type cannot be entered on new additional parts.
