Close Activity

Explanation

The menu option Close sets the selected activity to Closed status. Closing an activity changes its status from Released or Completed to Closed. Once an activity is in Closed status, it can only be demoted to status Completed.

Prerequisites

• The activity must be in either Released or Completed status.

System Effects

• The activity is closed.
• No more cost, revenue or hours can be registered on the activity.
• Vouchers cannot be created from any related transactions.
• The closed date gets set to the current date.
• If the activity belongs to a project PNG, it will be removed from the PNG and will no longer appear in the PPSAs Within PNG tab.

1. Select the activity to be Closed, then select the menu option Close.
