Define Project Demand Miscellaneous Part Cost Details

Explanation

This activity is used to add or modify details on the planned cost or hours of a miscellaneous part in a project demand.

Planned Cost/Hours per Cost Element

Procedure

  1. Open the Project Navigator or the Project window, and query for the project for which cost or hours on misc. parts needs to be defined.
  2. Click on the Demand/Misc. Parts tab, select a misc. part line, right click and then click the Cost Elements menu option. The Planned Cost/Hours per Cost Elements dialog box will open.
  3. Click on a row in the table, and click on the New button.
  4. Enter a cost element in the Cost Element field, to which planned cost or hours needs to be entered. You can use the List button to select from a list of project cost elements as well.
  5. In the Planned Cost field, enter the cost for the relevant cost element and misc. part.
  6. In the Planned Hours field, enter the hours for the relevant cost element and misc. part.
  7. Click Apply.
  8. Click OK.
