Refresh Project Connection Currency Values

Explanation

When you are using multicurrency budgeting and forecasting and/or project currency you are able to use the same currency rates for these currency types throughout the project. However there will be occasions when you would need to change the currency rates. This activity is used to refresh the budgeted/forecasted values from the beginning of the project or from some other point in time once the currency rates have been changed.

Prerequisites

• Multicurrency budgeting and forecasting and/or project currency must be in use.

System Effects

• The values for the currency types Base Currency B&F Rate and Project Currency in activity connections will be recalculated with the new rates from the given date.

Refresh Project Connection Currency Values

Procedure

1. Open the Refresh Project Connection Currency Values dialog box, and query for your project, sub project, activity and/or activity sequence number on which the currency values should be refreshed
2. Enter the Refresh Start Date for the recalculation.
3. Click the Project Currency check box and/or the Base Currency at B&F Rate check box depending on the currency you require.
4. Click OK.
