Enter Analysis Results for Inventory Part

Explanation

Use this activity to enter analysis results for an inventory part. This optional task is to be performed by a system administrator or equivalent person.

This activity allows you to record the measure quality results against the quality test plan (analysis type) for an inventory part where required. Specific quality test results for inventory parts are recorded. The analysis used depends upon the connection.

You can change the status of an analysis to Complete. Only results in Complete status are considered when creating control charts or calculating capability indices. Once the line has this status, the results cannot be edited. You can also create a new control chart if SPC is activated in the control plan.

When all test operations have been reported, you can confirm the status for one or more analyses. Once an analysis has been confirmed, the results cannot be edited.
