Copy Resource

Explanation

Use this activity to copy information from one resource to another. You can also create new resources. The simulation you copy to can be an existing simulation or a completely new one.

Prerequisites

• A simulation must exist.
• At least one resource must exist.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, resource data will be copied from one simulation to another.

Procedure

1. Open the Simulations window. Select the simulation from which you want to copy resources, right-click and then click Copy Assistant. This will open the Simulation Copy Assistant.
2. Enter a new simulation identifier and simulation description in the relevant fields, or select an existing simulation from the List of Values.
3. Clear the Copy All check box.
4. Click the Resources tab.
5. Select the required Include check boxes to define the data to be copied.
6. Click Finish.
