Define Contract Demand
Explanation
Use this activity to define a part demand for the sales contract parts. You can choose to create one line
or define a demand rate.
Prerequisites
A part must exist.
System Effects
As a result of this activity, a part demand for the sales contract is defined. A corresponding
supply is automatically created.

Procedure
- On the Contract Parts tab in the
Manage Sales Contract
window, right-click in the data grid in the lower part of the window and click Insert.
- Enter a Demand Date.
- Enter an Expected Quantity.
- Optionally, enter values for Lower Quantity and Upper Quantity. If you do not
enter any values, the Expected Quantity value will be used.
- Save.
To enter a demand rate:
- On the Contract Parts tab in the
Manage Sales Contract
window, right-click in the data grid in the lower part of the window and click Define Demand Rate.
The Define Demand Rate dialog box opens.
- Enter values for Start Date, Rate, Number of Periods and Interval.
- Click OK.
- Save.
