Define Part

Explanation

Use this activity to define parts for a simulation.

Prerequisites

A simulation must exist.

As a result of this activity, a new part is defined for the simulation.

Procedure

1. In the Simulations window, right-click the simulation for which you want to define a part.
2. Click Show Details. The Simulation window opens.
3. On the Parts tab, right-click and then click New Part. The Manage Part window opens.
4. Enter applicable values in the Part No field and Part Description field.
5. In the Unit of Measure field, enter an appropriate value or click List to select one from the List of Values.
6. Save the record.
