Define Part Group

Explanation

Use this activity to create a part group. Part groups are used to group similar parts in order to view load on a part group level instead of a single part level.

Prerequisites

A simulation must exist.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, a part group is defined.

Procedure

1. Open the Manage part Group window. Right-click and click Insert.
2. Enter a Part Group ID, a Group Description and choose a Simulation from the List of Values.
3. Save.
