Use this activity to create a part routing.

Manage Part

Procedure

  1. On the Parts tab in the Simulation window, right-click on the required part and then click View Part. The Manage Part window opens, populated with the relevant part details.
  2. On the Routing tab in the Manage Part window, create a new record.
  3. In the Lead Time Day field, enter a negative integer value.
  4. In the Resource field, click List to select a value from the List of Values.
  5. In the Expected Hours field, enter an applicable value.
  6. Optionally, in the Operation Description field, enter a relevant description.
  7. Optionally, enter applicable values in the Hours Lower and Hours Upper fields. If you do not enter any values, the expected hours value will be used.
  8. Save the record.
