Use this activity to define the resources used in the simulation.

A simulation must exist.

Define Resource Structure

Procedure

1. In the Simulation window, right-click and then click View Resource Structure. The Resource Structure window opens.
2. In the resource explorer, right click on the location where you need to add a resource and click New Resource. A new resource node is added.
3. Click the new resource in the explorer.
4. In the Resource ID field and Resource Description field, enter applicable values.
5. In the Site ID field, enter a value or click List to select one from the List of Values.
6. In the Resource Type list select the required resource type.
7. In the Calendar ID field, enter a applicable value or click List to select one from the List of Values.
8. The default values in the Full Time Equivalent and Resource Efficiency fields can be changed if required.
9. Save.
