Explore Simulation Load

Explanation

Use this activity to view and analyze load for a simulation.

Prerequisites

A simulation must exist and load must have been calculated.

Analyze Load

Procedure

Analyze load by sales contracts:

1. Click Show Filter.
2. Explore the sales contract tree and select the items of interest.
3. Click Filter.
4. View the result in the Load Graph or Load Matrix tabs.

Analyze load by parts:

1. Click Show Filter.
2. Explore the part tree and select the items of interest.
3. Click Filter.
4. View the result in the Load Graph or Load Matrix tabs

Analyze load by resources:

1. Click Show Filter.
2. Explore the resource tree and select the resources of interest.
3. Click Filter.
4. View the result in the Load Graph or Load Matrix tabs.

Display options:

Interval options:

    If you want to view the load in the Load Graph or Load Matrix for a specific time period, you can define the begin and end dates here. You can select a time interval in order to group the data in the graph or matrix.

Supply and routing options:

    You can select whether the Load Graph or Load Matrix should display lower, expected or upper values for supply quantity and routing hours.

    Select the Show in Full Time Equivalent check box if you want to display capacity in full time equivalents instead of hours.

Load Matrix:

Select the Effective Capacity check box if you want to calculate the load matrix values using effective capacity.

The Threshold value determines whether a cell is red or green. You can edit this value.

You can click a specific cell in the matrix to view the Capacity and Load values for that particular resource in that particular time period.
