Enter Abnormal Demand

Explanation

This activity is used to define a customer order line as an abnormal demand. Meaning that the qty entered on this customer order line differs significantly from what is normal and it should therefore not be considered for certain planning activities.

You can define a customer order line as an abnormal demand by using one of the following alternatives:

  1. By enter customer order lines as abnormal from the Customer Order window.
  2. By enter customer order line as abnormal from the Customer Order Lines window.

Prerequisites

Inventory transactions created for the customer order line cannot be included in the process of aggregating these transactions into statistical periods. If that is the case it will not be allowed to change the setting for abnormal demand. The reason is that an update of abnormal demand will update transactions already created for this customer order (deliveries as well as returns).
