Enter Package Part
Explanation
This activity is used to enter a package part. Package parts are a structure 
or a set of parts, which could consist of different types of sales parts. 
Prerequisites
This activity has the following prerequisites: 
	- A sales UoM must exist in the 
	Units of Measure window.
	
- A sales price group must exist in the 
	Sales Basic Data/Sales Price Groups tab.
- A sales group must exist in the 
	Sales Basic Data/Sales Groups tab. 
System Effects
A package part will be created with a record in the part catalog.

Procedure
	- Open the 
	Package Part window and enter a new record.
- Enter a sales part number, description and specify the site.
In the 
General tab:
	- Enter values for sales UoM, sales price group and sales group. This can 
	be done manually or selected from the List of Values.
- Optionally, enter values for the required fields.
- The price is retrieved from the 
	Package Part/Package Components 
	tab.
- The Active check box is selected by default. Clear this check box 
	if the part should not be used in the system.
- Select the Taxable check box if tax is applicable for the package 
	part.
- Select the Export to External Application check box, to enable 
	transferring the package part to an external application.
- Save the record.
