Print Order Confirmation

Explanation

This function enables you to print an entered customer order and send it as a booking confirmation to your customer. An order confirmation can be printed during the entire order flow as long as the customer order has been entered.

However, when a customer order is in status Planned, the customer order has not yet been confirmed to be a real demand or not; so printing the order confirmation at this stage is generally made for internal use. Therefore, if the status of the order is Planned, the automatic order flow defined by the order type will not be allowed to continue to automatic reservation.

Prerequisites

A customer order must have been entered.

System Effects

Printing a customer order confirmation is an optional step in the order flow, which means that no major system effects occur.

Procedure

From the Customer Order window:

  1. Populate or query for the required customer order.
  2. Right-click on the window header, and select Print Order Confirmation.
  3. Click OK on the information message that appears.

From the Quick Order Flow Handling window

  1. Populate or query for the required customer order.
  2. Select the desired order(s), right-click and select Print Order Confirmation.
  3. Click OK on the information message that appears.
