Enter Single-Occurrence Address per Line

Explanation

Use this function to define a temporary delivery address for a particular order line.

By default, all order lines have the same delivery address as defined for the order header. By entering a delivery address (single-occurrence or not) for a specific order line, you can have different delivery addresses for the order line and the order header. By entering a single-occurrence address, you can deliver the order line to a temporary address that has not been previously entered as customer basic data in Customer.

This is useful, for example, if you are making a partial delivery and you want to deliver the remaining order line(s) to an address other than the one to which the original delivery was made.

Note: When changing to a single-occurrence address you might need to review the delivery information and manually define an external transport lead time on the Delivery Information tab in the Customer Order Line Address dialog box.
