Calculate Discount

Explanation

Use this function to manually calculate the order discounts. In general, the reductions are calculated at the release of the sales quotation, i.e., when the quotation's status is set to Released. If you add a quotation line after the release, a new discount calculation must be performed manually.

Prerequisites

• A new sales quotation line must have been entered and saved.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the order discounts are calculated for the sales quotation. The Discount Calculated checkbox is selected in Sales Quotations.

Procedure

1. Search for the desired sales quotation via the Populate or Query function.
2. Select Calculate Discount from the Operations menu and click the OK button in the dialog box.
