Close Sales Quotation

Explanation

Use this function to close a sales quotation. The function can be used to close an entire sales quotation when you have created a customer order from one or more quotation lines. It can also be used when one or more quotation lines are lost, and you do not intend to follow-up on the remaining quotation lines.

Prerequisites

• The sales quotation must be in Released status.
• One or more quotation lines must have been lost or won.

System Effects

The sales quotation is set to Closed status and no further transactions can be performed.

Procedure

1. Use the Populate or Query function to display the appropriate sales quotation.
2. Select Close Quotation in the Operations menu, or through the right mouse button menu in the upper part of the window. Click the OK button in the dialog box that appears.
