Report Completed Milestone

Explanation

When a milestone is completed, the status for the milestone must be changed to Closed.

Prerequisites

• A milestone must have been created and saved for a customer order line.

The status for milestone is changed to Closed.

Procedure

There are two different procedures:

By entering a date:

1. Select a customer order line.
2. Choose Milestone... in the Operations menu.
3. Activate the milestone ID to be reported in Milestones for Customer Order Line.
4. Enter the date when the milestone is completed in the Completion Date column.
5. Save.

By closing the milestone:

1. Select a customer order line.
2. Choose Milestone... in the Operations menu.
3. Activate the milestone ID to be reported in Milestones for Customer Order Line.
4. Choose Close in the the Operations menu.
5. Save.

Reset, if required, the status of the milestone from Closed to Released:

1. Activate the milestone ID.
2. Choose Release in the Operations menu.
