Correct Structure Positions
Explanation
This activity is used to correct invalid structure positions
for a serial structure. A modification may lead to a part and/or part revision
change on a serial through which the structure positions in the serial's
structure become invalid. Once the modification is performed it will be possible
to correct all invalid structure positions in the serial's structure using this
activity.
Prerequisites
- The serial must have been renamed and invalid
structure positions must exist in the serial's structure.
System Effects
- All invalid structure positions in the selected
serial's structure will be corrected.
- The replacement history is updated with relevant
transaction records. These records will have the structure change type
Corrective, with an indication of whether the replacement was a
connection to the structure (Into) or a disconnection from the
structure (Out of).
