Set Serial Structure Operational
Explanation
This activity
is used to set the operational condition for all serials in a serial
structure to Operational.
While performing this activity, the system will carry out certain
configuration checks to
ensure that the serial structure is valid (e.g., all the required parts have
been installed and default values are generated). Furthermore, a check is
performed on all life limited parts (LLPs) in order to identify if any LLP has
passed its life limit.
Prerequisites
  -
All structure positions that are included in the minimum configuration for
the template structure must exist in the serial structure. (Structure
positions that are not part of the minimum configuration can also exist in
	the serial structure.)
- All serialized parts in the serial structure that are included in the
minimum configuration must contain serial numbers. The serialized parts that
are not included in the minimum configuration can exist in the serial
	structure without serial numbers.
- Mandatory	dependency rules must have been conformed with.
-
If approval records exist for the structure, these records must have been
	set to Approved.
- Life limits must be defined for all existing LLPs.
System Effects
If all structure requirements have been fulfilled, the operational condition is
set to the Operational for all the serials in the structure.
