Activate Service Contract.

Explanation

Use this activity too activate a service contract in order to be used in work orders, PM actions and/or to invoice.

Prerequisites

A service contract should exist in the system with the necessary details already defined.

System Effects

As a result of this activity a the service contract will be activated (i.e., the status set to Active). You can now invoice it or connect it to a work order or PM action.

Procedure

1. Open the Service Contract window and query for a service contract with the status Planned or Negotiated (F3).
2. Right-click and then click Activate.
