Delete Handling Unit

Explanation

It is possible to delete a handling unit, once it has been created. Any package units connected to the handling unit will be deleted at the same time, without any warning message. Note that the deleted handling unit ID will not be re-used for any new handling units. As a result of this, you will notice a gap in the handling unit sequence. 

Prerequisites

• The handling unit must have been created.

• The handling unit will be deleted.

Procedure

1. Query for a specific shipment ID.
2. Click the Package Structure tab to view the package structure details.
3. Expand the shipment ID by selecting it.
4. Select the specific handling unit you want to delete.
5. Right-click on the handling unit and then click Delete Handling Unit.
