Move Package Unit

Explanation

This activity is used to move package units between handling units as desired within the structure. This is done by a simple drag-and-drop operation of the package units. You can place individual package units on a preferred handling unit according to the rules below.

• Package units with different contents cannot be placed on a homogeneous handling unit. If a package unit with different contents is placed on a homogeneous handling unit, the handling unit type will automatically be changed.
• One package unit cannot be placed on another package unit.

Prerequisites

• At least two handling units must have been created.
• Package units must have been added to at least one of the handling units.

System Effects

• The package unit is moved to the new handling unit.

Procedure

1. Query for a specific shipment ID.
2. Click the Package Structure tab to view the package structure details.
3. Expand the shipment ID by selecting it.

Modify structure on handling unit level:

1. Expand the handling unit to view all the package units added to the handling unit.
2. Drag the package unit to the preferred handling unit folder.
