Print Pick List

Explanation

Whenever the parts are reserved and a pick list is created, you can print out the pick list in order to inform the packing staff of what and how much to pick for each specific order. The pick list is printed from the Operations menu in Print Pick List for Customer Orders and can then be printed or previewed from Archived Reports.

Ordinary pick lists are connected to a single order number. The pick lists for one order are printed for each location group for single handled parts, or for each pallet for pallet handled parts.

Consolidated pick lists are printed according to the consolidation that was selected when the pick lists were created. Pick-lists for customer order lines that have been connected to a Shipment during pick-list creation will always be printed per Shipment ID. In Shipment, you can print the automatically created consolidated pick lists using the Print Pick List right mouse button option in the shipment header. Thereafter, you can print or preview the consolidated pick lists from the Archived Reports window.

For MRO objects with miscellaneous parts received (and specified to be shipped back), the normal pick list will contain an appendix of miscellaneous parts.

Prerequisites

System Effects

A pick list printout will be generated and placed in the report archive. Print or preview your report from Archived Reports.

The act of printing a pick list does not normally change the order status. However, depending on the order type specified for the customer order, a status change may occur.
