Create Valuation

Explanation

This activity is used to create a valuation on a sub contract. If any previous valuation exists for the selected sub contract, valuation values or certified values will be copied automatically as valuation values to the newly created valuation. Procedure

Use this procedure to create a valuation from the Sub Contract window or the Sub Contracts window:

  1. Open the relevant window and query (F3) for the sub contract from which a valuation is to be created.
  2. Right-click and then click Create Valuation.
  3. Save (F12) the newly created valuation.

Use this procedure to create a valuation from the Sub Contract Valuation window:

  1. Create a new record (F5).
  2. In the Contract No field, enter the sub contract number. Use the List of Values to select a valid value.
  3. Once the sub contract is entered, information on this sub contract will be copied to the valuation. If a previous valuation exists for that sub contract, the previous valuations will also be copied.
  4. Save the record (F12).
