BDR Exercise for Creating Configuration Family and Attaching Characteristics
Purpose: The purpose of this exercise is to show you how to enter a sales rule template that can be connected to a sales rule.
Windows:
Sales Rule Template
Note: When working with CTO parts and sales rules, you connect sales rules with conditions and actions as a layer on part configuration revision. The sales rules should be setup in such a way to make it impossible to create an invalid configuration which could not be produced. In IFS Applications you connect specific sales rules for the connected characteristics and options. A sales rule can be connected to a template that can be reused by several base parts/revisions if connected to the same configuration family.
Note: You will create a new template for configuration family EASYFLEX.
