Creating Users

This step is mandatory.

To use the application, it's recommended that all users have their own user ID e.g. unique oracle user accounts in the database.

Administration of user is done in IFS Solution Manager. Read more about how this is done in IFS Administration Guide.

Note: Remember to apply the appropriate security to the new user.

Note: Please be aware of any specific steps within Financials or the other ERP systems which may require that you attach the new IDs to the necessary component or function, e.g., employee, buyer, planner.
