Purpose: The purpose of this exercise is to familiarize you with the basic data required for creating component repair orders

Component Repair Order Basic Data

Create Package Condition

1. Open the Component Repair Order Basic Data window.
2. Click the Package Condition tab.
3. Create a new package (F5).
4. Enter XXPC1as the new package condition.
5. Enter New as the package condition description.
6. Save the record (F12).

Create Service Type

1. Open the Component Repair Order Basic Data window.
2. Click the Service Type tab.
3. Create a new service type (F5).
4. Enter SO as the service type.
5. Enter Standard Overhaul as the service type description.
6. Save the record (F12).

Create Line Hold Reason

1. Open the Component Repair Order Basic Data window.
2. Click the Line Hold Reason tab.
3. Create a new line hold reason (F5).
4. Enter 10 as the hold reason code.
5. Enter Awaiting Customer Response as the hold reason description.
6. Save the record (F12).
