Purpose: The purpose of this lesson is to apply the fee and price capping.

Apply Fee and Price Capping

1. Select the top level of the product structure (engine) and select the Aggregate check box.
2. Open the Complex Assembly Work Order/Operation Margin/Labor tab and check the total price and fee for the LABOR cost type.
3. Open the Complex Assembly Service Contract/Structure Pricing/Fee Cap and Complex Assembly Service Contract/Structure Pricing/Price Cap tabs and define, on the top level, a fee and a price cap, lower than the sum of all labor. Register the LABOR cost type for the fee and price cap.
4. Open the Complex Assembly Work Order/Sales Lines tab, right-click anywhere in the header, and then click Remove all Sales Lines to clear all cost and sales lines.
5. Right-click anywhere in the header, and then click Apply Agreement to generate cost and sales lines.
6. Check in the Complex Assembly Work Order/Operation Margin/Labor tab that the total LABOR was capped to the defined  fee and price cap.

Note The fee capping is applied before the price capping.
