OVERVIEW
  • The counting of inventory parts can be handled in many ways. This lesson describes the steps needed to prepare for counting using count report.

COUNT REPORT
  • A count report is used whenever you want to count physical inventory using an inventory list.
  • The count report is created in the Create Count Report dialog box.
  • Multiple conditions can be entered to limit the number of parts to be counted, such as part number, maximum on-hand quantity, or commodity group.
