Modify Manual Fields

Explanation

This activity is used to modify the field values that will be printed in the tax report printout of an automatic tax proposal. Only the values entered in fields of which the template field type is Manual in the Tax Template Field Control Basic window can be edited.

Prerequisites

In order to perform this activity, the following prerequisites are necessary.

• An automatic tax proposal must exist in the system
• The tax report to which the automatic tax proposal is connected must be based on a tax template for which the value entered in the Tax Report Based On field in the Tax Templates window is Other Reports. It is also required that at least one template field of which the template field type is Manual exists for the tax template in the Tax Template Field Control Basic window.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the modifications you make will be updated in the Tax Proposal - Template Field Presentation window.

Procedure

1. Open the Automatic Tax Proposal window and query for the tax proposal for which you want to modify the manual fields of the tax report printout.
2. Select the record that you queried for, right-click and then click Template Field Presentation to open the Tax Proposal - Template Field Presentation window.
3. Right-click in the background of the table in the Tax Proposal - Template Field Presentation window and then click Modify Manual Fields to open the Modify Manual Fields dialog box.
4. Change the value entered in the Value field for the relevant template fields and click Save to close the dialog box.
