Calculate Course Score and Result

Explanation

Use this function in the tab Evaluation on Participant to calculate the course score of a training participant. The function is used both for the final result and for the course's score. Using the course score, you can identify whether a training participant passes or fails the training event.

Prerequisites

Before calculating the score, you have to make sure that the fields below have values, or else the score cannot be calculated:

• Evaluation Question Text
• Training Evaluation Criteria
• Evaluation Rating
• Evaluation Rating Score 

System Effects

The system will display/update the calculation of the score based on Evaluation Rating Score automatically, after you select the Final Score and Result function.

Procedure

1. The participant identification is displayed automatically in the participant window.
2. You can specify the evaluation question that will be used to evaluate the training participant. Register the evaluation question by selecting New, and use the List of Values to view the existing evaluation question. Optionally, you can use the default Evaluation Question Template that has been identified in the General tab. The value of the evaluation rating score is displayed automatically.
3. Select Save.
4. Click the right mouse button to obtain the available functions, and choose Final Score and Result to calculate the result, which will be displayed in the Final Result field.
