Register Training Room and Equipment

Explanation

Use this function to define basic information about training facilities needed for courses. Examples of training equipment are computers, overhead projectors, and whiteboards. Training room types are, for example, group room, lesson room, big room, or workshop room. Training Room is where the Training Room Type gets a specific name, address, capacity, and designation of Internal or External. For example, a training room type could get the name Lesson Room One and be designated Internal with a capacity of ten participants. Training Room Equipment specifies in which training room a specific piece of equipment belongs.

Procedure

Training Equipment:

  1. Select New to register a new item.
  2. Enter your data. Training Equipment ID and Training Equipment Name are required fields; all others are optional.
  3. Save.

Training Room Type:

  1. Select New to register a new item.
  2. Enter your data. Training Room Type is a required field; Training Room Description is optional.
  3. Save.

Training Room:

  1. Select New to register a new item.
  2. Enter your data. Training Room Name and Training Room Location are required fields; all others are optional.
  3. Save.

Training Room Equipment:

  1. First, select a Training Room Name in the list box. Then click anywhere in the tab window and select New to define equipment for that room.
  2. Enter your data. All fields are required (the Quantity field defaults to 1, but can be changed). You can use the List of Values for the Training Equipment ID field.
  3. Save.
