Use this window or tab to view operational parameters on which the serials associated to the selected maintenance group will be measured, and also to update the operational parameters and their sorting code. The sort code will decide the order of the operational parameters when the measurement log data is entered. Also, the sequence of the parameters must be correct when there are calculated parameters. The calculated parameters must have a higher sequence than the parameters on which the calculations are based. It is possible to change the sequence by using the Change Sorting Code right mouse button option.
In the Maintenance Plan/Oper. Param. per Maint Group tab, you will only be able to view the valid information, for instance, manual monthly operational averages together with the historical weighted average for the last two months, and the planned operational value from the budget. To modify the information in this tab, select the Operational Parameters per Maintenance Group right mouse button option.
All operational parameters defined for the serial part are automatically connected to the maintenance group when the group is entered. When you enter a new operational parameter, this will automatically be assigned to all the serials in the selected maintenance group. Likewise, when you delete an operational parameter, this will automatically be removed from all the serials in the selected maintenance group. The primary operational parameter cannot be changed or deleted after a serial has received operational loggings. If any one of the other operational parameters consists of a maintenance plan, it is optional to define a maintenance plan for the primary operational parameter as well.
The average value rule makes it possible to select which average value (average operational value per month) to use for task calculations. The average value rule can be Manual Average Value, Planned Average Value, or Historical Average Value. Initially, it is useful to select Manual Average Value. After some time, it will be possible to change this to Historical Average Value or Planned Average Value once they have stabilized. The default value is Planned Average Value.
It is very important to be aware that the Planned Average Value will only be calculated if the part number is defined as a vehicle part and an operational budget is defined for this part number. It is also important to know that owing to this, it will only be calculated for the primary operational parameter.
This means that for the other operational parameters, due calculation will use the Historical Average Value or the Manual Average Value according to the sequence given below. Furthermore, it means that for any part number not defined as a vehicle part, you will never receive a Planned Average Value for any operational parameter, so due calculation will always use any of the two other calculations rules.
Average Value Rule | The selection of average value occurs in the following order |
Manual Average Value |
|
Planned Average Value |
