Enter Standard Jobs

Explanation

Use this activity to connect multiple standard jobs to a work order. This is useful if you want to create work orders for typical, frequently performed jobs, that use the same kind of resources, i.e., personnel and material. After connecting a standard job all previously entered craft and material requirements are copied to the work order. You can also enter a standard text if you want to use a typical work description only. Note: Route Standard Jobs can only be connected to route work orders, and separate standard jobs can only be connected to separate work orders.

Prerequisites

Information related to standard jobs must exist in IFS/Basic Data for Maintenance.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, all information regarding operations, materials, tools and facilities, and documents that are entered in a standard job will be copied to the work order.
