View Scheduled Plan
Explanation
This activity is used to view the scheduled plan for a
work order. Once the work orders which are transferred to the Scheduling Engine
are scheduled, an allocation plan is returned to IFS Applications. If the
suggested plan is suitable you can assign the work order to the employee
(referred to as resource in 360 Scheduling) who is to execute the work. If the
suggested plan does not meet the requirements, you can choose to wait for the
next broadcast of the plan or manually change the plan in the 360 iSWB (Internet
Scheduling Work Bench, which is the web based user interface for 360 Scheduling.
Note: If scheduling is done in the SDS (Scheduling Dispatch Service), the
allocated work orders will be assigned (or unassigned) automatically to the
employees suggested by the SDS based on the given scheduling rules.
Therefore, the work orders that are scheduled by the SDS will be returned in the
Assigned status and the Executed By field on the work order will
be set to the suggested employee's ID.
The scheduled plan will include the following data as
received from the Scheduling Engine:
- The suggested start and end dates for the work
order (referred to as activity in 360 Scheduling).
- Whether the work order is fixed to the given start
date and time.
- The duration (in hours) of the work order. The
duration is calculated from the planned hours on the operations or if not
available from the execution time set on the work order or lastly from the
activity type (defined in Basic Data for Scheduling/Work
Order/Activity Type) of the work order.
- The identity of the employee who is to execute the
work, if this employee is set as a fixed resource for the work order. When a
work order is transferred with a value entered in the Executed By
field, this employee is transferred as committed to the Scheduling Engine.
- The identity of the employee who is suggested to
be allocated to the work order.
- The status of the scheduled work order.
- The scheduling base value.
- The primary scheduling type that is assigned to
the work order.
- The earliest time and/or the latest time the work
order can be scheduled to start in order to meet the requirements of the
primary scheduling type.
- The secondary scheduling type that is assigned to
the work order.
- The earliest time and/or the latest time the work
order can be scheduled to start in order to meet the requirements of the
secondary scheduling type.
Prerequisites
To perform this activity, the work order must have been
scheduled in the Scheduling Engine and an allocation plan must have been
returned for it. If the work order could not be scheduled, an allocation will not be returned and the scheduling status will be set to Unallocated.
