Enter Standard Jobs

Explanation

Use this activity to connect multiple standard jobs to the service request. After connecting a standard job, all previously entered operations, material requirements are copied to the service request.

Prerequisites

Information related to standard jobs must exist in IFS/Preventive and Corrective Maintenance.

System Effects

All information regarding operations, materials, tools and facilities, and documents that are entered in a standard job will be copied to a service request.

Procedure

  1. Open the Service Request window.
  2. Create a new record (F5) or query for an existing one (F3).
  3. Click the Jobs tab and create a new record (F5), or select an appropriate job from the existing job lines.
  4. Enter a value in the Standard Job ID field. Use the List of Values to select a suitable value. 
  5. Enter an appropriate revision in the Revision field if more than one revision exists for the standard job. Use the List of Values to select a suitable value. 
  6. Enter the quantity of the standard job. At the time of creating a new record, the value in the Quantity field is set to 1 by default.
  7. Save the record (F12).
