Change Schedules and Rules for an Employee

Usage

Use this wizard to change schedules and rules information connected to an employee. You can do the same changes directly in the overview window by ending the old record and creating a new record. If you use the wizard, you only have to focus on which data to change, and from which date it should be valid. The wizard will create a new row for the employee and also end the old schedule and rules assignment.  

The Valid From date defines the date from which the change will take effect. It is possible to change the assignment retrospectively, i.e., the selected date can be earlier than the current date.

When you enter the date, the affected record is displayed in the Old column. You enter the changes in the New column.

If the entered date is the same as the valid from date of the old record, the record will be updated. However, if the entered date is greater than the old valid from date, the record will be split into two records and an old record with an updated valid to date, and the new record.   

The second step in the wizard, available if the IFS/Time and Attendance is installed, makes it possible to regenerate and recalculate all transactions after the changes. It is also possible to exclude confirmed transactions.
