PrerequisitesThis portlet is used for displaying information about Information Access Layers (IALs) which will be used in Business analysis. You can view measure information based on different dimensions.
PrerequisitesBefore using this portlet it is necessary to create an IAL starting with KPIC_ .
Viewing
the Portlet InformationIn this portlet the information of selected IAL will be displayed. The Time dimension is presented on the X-axis and the Measures on the Y-axis. One or more dimension can be used and selected dimensions and corresponding values will be displayed just before the chart is displayed. Measures Corresponding to IAL, will be presented as labels on the top of the chart with the separate colors which is relevant to lines or bars.
The values (lines or bars) will indicate the measures, with respect to the corresponding dimension.
Customizing
this PortletUsing the Customize page, you can customize the layout and content of your portlet.
Portlet Name: This field contain the name of the portlet. Here any name can be given, default is KPI Chart Viewer.
KPI IAL: This combo box contains all the IALs starting with KPIC_.
Slice Dimension: This section contains all Dimensions exist in the selected IAL. Each Dimension will be displayed as a separate field where user can select respective values from the LOV. You will get one field for each dimension in the selected IAL.
Measures: This Box will contain all the measures in the selected IAL. This will be filled once you select the IAL.
Chart View Properties:
Type: The two basic options are Line and Bar. You can select combination of the two different properties , but the line option must be used for one or all measures.
Colors: You can define a color for each measure that is displayed in the measure list box.
