Create Specification Sheet

Explanation

This activity is used to create the specification sheet used for the IFS/Component Specification add-in to MS Excel. Specification sheets are used to transmit and receive information, between a buyer and a supplier, required for the detailed design or purchase of equipment. IFS/Component Specification uses standard Internet protocols for communication between IFS/Asset Design and MS Excel to enable specification generation over the Internet. Refer to About Component Specification for more information.

Prerequisites

Class-based specification sheet templates should be created.
