As long as the structure is unreleased, meaning that no pegged orders are created, you can change the information in the structure, e.g., it's quantity. When the actual orders have been created, you are no longer allowed to make major changes to the DOP structure. You can also use this tab window to reserve the material needed for manufacturing. Later on in the process, when manufacturing is complete, you can close the DOP order.
