Enter Time Zone Offset

Explanation

Use this activity to enter the number of hours between the site time and the database server time. This optional task is to be performed by a system administrator or equivalent person.

Prerequisites

This activity has the following prerequisites:

• The site must be created.
• The calendars you want to use for IFS Distribution and IFS Manufacturing must be entered and generated in the Calendar window.

System Effects

As a result of this activity:

• The site and database server times are changed to different time zones.

Procedure

1. Open the Site window.
2. Query for the site whose time zone you wish to change.
3. On the Extended Site Info tab, in the Time Zone Offset field, enter the number of hours of difference between the site time and the database server time.
4. Save the changes.
