Delete Project Delivery Structure Branch

Explanation

Use the menu option Delete Branch to completely remove a branch from a project delivery structure. If any of the items that are to be removed have procurement connected (Purchase Orders, Shop Orders) these must be deleted manually. To cancel/remove obsolete procurement orders open the Procured tab and delete the lines that are not valid anymore.

Prerequisites

• Serial parts must not be issued to the project.

System Effects

• The selected part and its entire substructure from the project are deleted from the project delivery structure.
• In Part Definition, the number of occurrences will be reduced for each item that is removed.
• If any of the items (in the structure) have procurement connected information about this will be displayed.
